Dear citizens of GothVille, we are talking about it for a long time now. Waiting for the last pieces to fit in our new website project was even for our team a real pain in the ass. But we hate it to do it wrong, so we thought waiting was the best option. Normally you should have seen the new site on-line at the beginning of May 2012. But during April of this year we had a major problem with our radio project which made it impossible to proceed. We hope to publish more news about it here and other channels as soon we have all details. In the mean time we are making the last adjustments to the new site and hope to be ready somewhere this month. We think it will be an improvement for all our citizens, and hope to please your darkness once again. It will be: Goth, Industrial, Music, Video, Community, Social, Weird, Fucked-up, Black, Sick, Rebellion and probably parental advisory explicit content ! See you soon, AnaXaGoRaS

As a non-profit organization we have no stable income. However, we all know running a website, and certainly also running a streaming radio, costs money. Because we do it all legal, we also pay royalties to the bands which work is protected. These funds are raised by 3 main sources of income: 1) Donations, some of you donate sometimes a little fee. 2) Advertising with banners and audio ads 3) Parties we play our DJ set

GothVille 2.0 is a free and non-profit goth music radio, news and community site designed for people dressed in black. A never ending search for darkness! We can be used by organizations of all kind of sizes for publishing news, music, web sites, events and is already being used by a community of thousand of users who use our platform to find their music or news. Started in 2005 we have evolved in a die hard radio stream. Not only hits are being played, also the unknown little bands, and the audience can help decide which music will be played. GothVille 2.0 is our second website version. The old one is turned off, the new one is what you get from now!

The GothVille Guardian goes Monthly... Last month (august 2009) we did a mailing to all our members, who had registered on our site the last few years, to inform them about our new sites and login procedures. Many people responded with "hey, why do you send us not more news" in a kind of way for not saying, we where completely forgotten you also have a site ;-) Well, we always thought about it, and here it will start. GothVille vzw is a non-profit organization started in 2000 and became legal registered in 2005. VZW stands for "Vereniging Zonder Winstoogmerk" which is Dutch for "Non-Profit Organization".

The GothVille Core Team consists of volunteer administrators and managers who, together with a large range of Work Groups of dedicated community members have taken GothVille to new heights in its relatively short life. This well-oiled machine is often copied but never surpassed. GothVille has some wonderfully talented people taking music concepts to the forefront of industry standards. GothVille 2.0 is a major leap forward and represents the most exciting release in the history of the project.
