Hail to you mortals! Again this year we will be at WGT at Leipzig. If you see our T-Shirts, come and say hello ! If it is still light, we drink beer also ;-) If it is dark, we will have probably enough...
Entering your mobile is an option during the sign-up procedure. It is however needed if you want to have access to some extra features as a user in our radio panel. These extra features are for those who want to become a registered DJ to make sure their show is being broadcasted. Users who request to become a registered DJ can place advertising on our site for their show, but are also being first served if any conflict in show dates should occur with standard registered users. You can leave the mobile field empty and complete your profile afterwards. As soon as the mobile number is being validated by our SMS un-lock procedure the extra features will become available...
When you want to become a registered DJ, or if you want to have access as a band/artist, Label or Manager, you must enter your mobile number and complete your registration or profile by entering the unlock code which you have received on your mobile. This SMS is free of charge but needed for our administration to make validation of your identity easier and faster if any questions should be left open.
I can not hear anything with player open?

Well my fellow mortals, this is normal ! The player website (http://radio.gothville.com/) will open an interface to browse for music, see what is playing currently, etc... There are two tabs prepared to open the radio stream with your browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer, but you need to start it manually. We will never start the stream automatically when you open the site, think about the systems running at the office ;-)
At the time of this writings, the player tabs are not yet active because there are still some issues with the license... But will be fixed within a week....
You can always use the direct links with the player you like best:
Please note that iTunes won't be able to play AAC+ streams for the moment...

Can I upload my music?

You indeed can upload music to our servers. This features is only available for labels, bands, artists and Registered DJ's. Only when you are validated by our staff you will have this feature enabled. It will show up in the main menu in our DJ and Radio Panel.
Advertisers will have also an upload feature. However, this is an upload for audio and image ads, not music tracks.
This feature is still under construction to be integrated in the radio panel. Development is something we do ourselves, and depending on the other workload this process will get some finishing by the end of the first quarter in 2010...

Track Info - What is balance?
Written by AnaXaGoRaS
Saturday, 15 November 2008 18:39
This value is used by our server to have an indication on how often a track is being played of the same artist and album. The higher this value, the less it will be played. When a track is being played, all balance values of this artist, and other tracks of the same album will be adjusted. Together with the weight value our server will use this information to decide which track will be scheduled for broadcasting.
The Balance value will never be resetted. The weight value however will be restted to the value '75' twice a year.
