Rowland S. Howard, who played guitar for the Boys Next Door and the Birthday Party, has lost his battle with liver cancer.He passed away on the morning of December 30 2009 at the age of 50. Howard is best remembered for his distinctive distorted guitar sounds and audio feedback, and for the alternative hit "Shivers" which he penned for theBoys Next Door, a Melbourne punk/goth band which he had formed in 1973 with Nick Cave.

On November 13th 2009 dark electro group Eurocide release their third studio album "Regen Aus Asche".

Originally founded in 2001 by Borislav Schultheiss, Andi Grundler and Bernd Mayer 2004 saw the debut album „Europe in Dust“ which met extremely well feedback within the press as well as with the DJs.

"Regen Aus Asche" is dynamic, hard, uncompromising but still dancable and melodic. Pounding and driving beats combined with profound lyrics taken from old prophecies about Europe's near future.

Ever since their debut, ‘Truth is Fanatic’, exploded like a bomb, it has been impossible to imagine the clubs and the alternative charts without ROTERSAND.

Also with their new album, ‘Random is Resistance’, they have once again succeeded in performing the balancing act between club-friendly music and a total work of art.

Last year we had a false start with our .net community site. Is was not working like it should, and troubles with security made us to decide to keep the project on hold. For the last months now we are testing a complete makeover. The newest Beta is looking good, many problems are solved, but we decided this week-end to wait for the final stable release of the software. It should be released by the end of october. But we think it will be rather 2010 then this year. That is why we are now focussing on improvements for the new radio panel, and DJ interface for the rest of this year. That would be our new Target, a working DJ interface by the end of this year, so we can go to a first Beta release and leave the Alpha fase.

As soon as we have a first stable version on-line we will inform you here to invite you people to test the new community project. We hope to have it on-line somewhere in november, as soon as the software allows updatings, and we see the updating procedures are working we think to go in beta again with our GothVille.Net project.

Krank > voice, absynthetiK_ > drums and live machines and Ersatz_ bass and programming answered our questions about this new project that released their debut on Black Rain Records now.

Hi guys, nice that you have some time to answer a few questions. So for the beginning, let’s go back to 2002. You have founded DC then. How did you meet ?

Krank_: We all were University students back at that time and we were also hanging out in the same bars!! We already knew each others and were involved in different bands. AbsynthetiK_ and I were in a twisted metal band in which I played as a guitarist. Ersatz_ just joined another metal band as the new bassist until these bands split pretty much at the same time, then he came one day with a song he was working on, and that was about the time we decided to play together and take an artistic direction that would better fit our personal inspirations.

What does the name DEXY CORP_ mean to you?

We received a little message from a small videolabel near Munich, Germany. They have worked more than two years on a DVD project about underground fashion, especially Gothic, WaveGothic, Cyber, GothicLolita, WavePunk and Fetish fashion. After a few video presentations in some german gothic clubs, they have now released their DVD called „The Last Day Of Innocence“. As I said before, they are a small label, and where looking for scene (online)magazines which are interested in their DVD and would like to write about it. For ten years now, ASP have maintained their hold in the ever-changing music business and have provided lovers of ambitious, superior-quality German-language music with one milestone after another. ‘Wer Sonst?’/‘Im Märchenland’ is a 'double A side' single with two incredibly strong title tracks and a multitude of fantastic bonus material. In terms of its presentation, even the standard version surpasses the limited editions of so many other bands: eight audio tracks, a live video of one of the single songs and a twelve page booklet packaged in a six-panelled digipak which features two alternative covers – one on both the front and back of the digipak, representing each of the main single tracks.

For the limited deluxe special edition, ASP have once again thought up something quite special: instead of recording a video, the band from Frankfurt deliver a genuine comic book which is based on an original script from ASP mastermind AF Spreng and which is brilliantly realised by legendary illustrator Ingo Römling. A fantastic adventure to kick off a new comic series from AF Spreng, which is teeming with literary allusions and good-natured homages. An intelligent action adventure!
