on 26th June 2010 the most stunning electro festival of the year is going to conquer the German Capital Berlin. The E-tropolis Festival comprises a wide range of different electronic styles in a unique, electrifying event, featuring classic EBM, harsh Industrial- & Cyberelectro, Synth-Pop- and alternative dance acts in one pulsating stream of synthetic music.

E-tropolis Festival 2010 – A stylish change of tapestry!
For conceptional matters the E-tropolis Festival 2010 will be transferred into another venue. Thus the festival does not, as initially planned, take place at the Citadel Spandau, it moves to the Columbia compound, located at Columbiadamm 13-21, 10965 Berlin. Taking a look at the manifold event facilities, the Columbia compound opens numerous new possibilities and advantages for the E-tropolis Festival 2010, compared to the Citadel.

Along with its new home the E-tropolis Festival expands to three indoor venues and two large outdoor areas featuring a beer-garden, two chill-out zones, the shopping mile and a lot more. The live-programme adjusts to the new setting as well and will be largely extended. While the “C-Hall” bears the so-far confirmed blockbuster line-up, featuring FEINDFLUG as additional act, the “C-Club” joins the festival, providing the all new second stage, featuring XOTOX, MIND.IN.A.BOX, MERGEL KRATZER, CYBORG ATTACK and SHE´S ALL THAT. The third indoor area will be located in another hall of the Columbia compound, hosting the live viewing of the soccer world championship round of the last 16.

Not only that the indoor locations are independent from weather conditions, they also provide lots of other advantages, like all bands are able to play in the dark, letting the special atmosphere of music and lights unfold to the full extent. Without loudness or low frequency limitations the bands may also present their live-sound in an even more impressive way. While the Citadel has to follow a strict curfew at 22:00 o’clock, the halls of the Columbia compound allow the festival to go on deep into the night. This ensures enhanced showtimes for all bands, as well as a big aftershowparty, until the break of dawn.

Despite the numerous advantages of the E-tropolis Festival Extended Edition, offering additional bands, more powerful sound, longer showtimes, a moody scenery and several other improving features, the ticket price remains the same! Instead of the initial seven, you can now look forward to thirteen awesome bands for the price of only 34,00  plus charges.
