Hail you mortal, thought I was dead? Nope, I'm still here... Getting warm for the upcoming summer festivals, and hoping to get one step closer with the final radio project. I'm finishing the latest alpha release of the radio panel, hoping to go beta afterwards a lot quicker then this release. GothVille Radio Panel Alpha 1.5 on it way... - Make your own shows, even the non-registered DJ's - Request to change genre and mood - Integration of your favorites of radio schedule when you're on-line - Integrated GothVille browsing to our websites with only one login - Upload of audio and video - Audio Player finally integrated in panel - Better search features to find your track - Add your personal web-sites to our Gothle Search Bot.... Once again, sorry for the silence on site and e-mails, I need to kick some functions out of my life urgently ! Cu!

New Platform for Interactive radio pleasure almost ready...

When everything goes well I'll put the a Beta release on-line for the new player platform. It will be like a windows platform where you can search music, request it, and provide scores. The first beta will have only the radio player and music requester available. DJ tools and other features are for the rest of the following months. When the beta is working well, the site will be updated also after the WGT treffen Gothic music for people dressed in black. Yes, our goal is to reach those who love to listen to a dark scene radio where all kind of Goth related music is being played. Our dream is to make an electro and rock stream so we can divide the two major genres groups. Gothic Rock and Industrial Electro. But first you mortals need to switch to the 48Kbps stream a lot more !!! Use the new techniques please, we can't repeat it enough.... And ofcourse, donations are welcome ! We need it to keep this station running !!!!

Preparations for new site

It's time to start with the necessary preparations for the new GothVille site. Lot's of work has been done, but there is still a lot of work which has to be done. Almost 70% of you would like us to split the current radio stream into 2 main streams, namely the Electro and Rock genres. We are working on this, but need your help in making this dream come true. Unless you all start donating like hell, we need to take care of our bandwidth. That's why we want to ask you to use our 48K stream which is using the ACC+ technology. The quality is the same (yeah, we know, it is a bit less, but you can't hear the difference unless you use software to detect it). As soon as we notice the 48K stream is more used then our oldest stream in 128K we can make this happen.

Close race in Poll Splitting up Rock and Electro...

I must say we didn't expected this. A so called neck to neck race between those who are in favorite to split our radio stream into two seperated streams, one for all Rock related subgenres, and one for the more electro related subgenres. Everyone knows that the gothic scene is one of the hardest to please, it makes it also the more fun when you do so. As a DJ you probably know that all genres we consider to be Goth related not always fit in one show, or lets say one hour...
