'Extreme Gentleman' is the new solo project of enfant terrible Luc Van Acker (known from himself, Arbeid Adelt!, Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Shriekback and much more!). This time our dare-all is armed only with his voice, a tape-machine and projection slides confronting the audience, as well as himself, with an experimental trip going from dark industrial and noisy soundscapes to more accessible tunes and back again.

Supportband 'Companions in Art (CIA)' rarely comes out of the dark with their electro-wave beats, but for this occasion, the Gothville Gothfathers made an exception. And they'll bring a few brand new non-released songs.

Rowland S. Howard, who played guitar for the Boys Next Door and the Birthday Party, has lost his battle with liver cancer.He passed away on the morning of December 30 2009 at the age of 50. Howard is best remembered for his distinctive distorted guitar sounds and audio feedback, and for the alternative hit "Shivers" which he penned for theBoys Next Door, a Melbourne punk/goth band which he had formed in 1973 with Nick Cave.

Australian band IKON has been creating its unique brand of wave music for eighteen years. Chris McCarter (vocals, guitar, programming) and Dino Molinaro (bass) began to write songs as high school students in 1988.
Love, Hate and Sorrow, IKON’s sixth studio album, will be released on October 15th 2009, and was three years in the making. Last year we had a false start with our .net community site. Is was not working like it should, and troubles with security made us to decide to keep the project on hold. For the last months now we are testing a complete makeover. The newest Beta is looking good, many problems are solved, but we decided this week-end to wait for the final stable release of the software. It should be released by the end of october. But we think it will be rather 2010 then this year. That is why we are now focussing on improvements for the new radio panel, and DJ interface for the rest of this year. That would be our new Target, a working DJ interface by the end of this year, so we can go to a first Beta release and leave the Alpha fase.

As soon as we have a first stable version on-line we will inform you here to invite you people to test the new community project. We hope to have it on-line somewhere in november, as soon as the software allows updatings, and we see the updating procedures are working we think to go in beta again with our GothVille.Net project.

Hi guys, nice that you have some time to answer a few questions. So for the beginning, let’s go back to 2002. You have founded DC then. How did you meet ?

Krank_: We all were University students back at that time and we were also hanging out in the same bars!! We already knew each others and were involved in different bands. AbsynthetiK_ and I were in a twisted metal band in which I played as a guitarist. Ersatz_ just joined another metal band as the new bassist until these bands split pretty much at the same time, then he came one day with a song he was working on, and that was about the time we decided to play together and take an artistic direction that would better fit our personal inspirations.

What does the name DEXY CORP_ mean to you?

SCHULTZ is a project created in 2002. Following the release of a music demo and the composition of remix for different artists such as Kom-Intern, Thafs, Blackulla or Wäks, the project really took-off in 2006, when Schultz joined VDREY. (www.vdrey.canalblog.com), a talented painter and on-stage performer, who was herself looking for a musician to perform with. Since then, they have been performing on stage together, Schultz playing his harsh-industrial music Live (mostly influenced by M-Tronic, Hands, Parametric, Ant-zen, Hymen recordings) and VDREY painting erotic and fetish oriented shapes. He release his first demo disk in 2004 called 26.05.02.

In 2007 he release his first album called “BioMeKaniKal” on the Swiss label “Urgence Disk Records” and in 2008 the second called "PSYKIATRIK AREA". In 2009 the new french label MEKA release a re-edition of his first demo with a new cover and 3 exclusive remix called "26.05.02 EXTENDED".

We received a little message from a small videolabel near Munich, Germany. They have worked more than two years on a DVD project about underground fashion, especially Gothic, WaveGothic, Cyber, GothicLolita, WavePunk and Fetish fashion. After a few video presentations in some german gothic clubs, they have now released their DVD called „The Last Day Of Innocence“. As I said before, they are a small label, and where looking for scene (online)magazines which are interested in their DVD and would like to write about it. How have you three met and decided to form a band?
The story began in late 2007 when Jesper and Mika met again after 16 years or something.. Jesper and Mika started to talk about forming a classical EBM-band with a new twist. Mika was already working with Anders in another musical project and Mika asked Anders if he wanted to join, and he did, and thats how we formed AUTODAFEH (ADF).

What does the name Autodafeh stand for?
It’s a good name! An auto de fé was the ritual of public penance of condemned heretics and apostates that took place when the Spanish Inquisition or the Portuguese Inquisition had decided their punishment (that is, after the trial). Auto de fé in medieval Spanish (and in Portuguese) means "act of faith". And offcourse it’s inspired by SPK’s album Auto Da Fe, we added the h.

Who are your idols and how much got you influenced by them in your own music?
Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, I guess we could say we’re a fair bit influenced.

For ten years now, ASP have maintained their hold in the ever-changing music business and have provided lovers of ambitious, superior-quality German-language music with one milestone after another. For a long time, their ‘gothic novel rock’ has been highly regarded across all scene boundaries and many of their releases demonstrate why fans today still want to acquire music in a physical format: because ASP present them with total works of art, both musically and visually.
And so it is now, with the new ASP release.

‘Wer Sonst?’/‘Im Märchenland’ is a 'double A side' single with two incredibly strong title tracks and a multitude of fantastic bonus material. In terms of its presentation, even the standard version surpasses the limited editions of so many other bands: eight audio tracks, a live video of one of the single songs and a twelve page booklet packaged in a six-panelled digipak which features two alternative covers – one on both the front and back of the digipak, representing each of the main single tracks.

Oniric is an italian project founded/started in 2005. Oniric was formed / founded by Carlo De Fillipo and GianVigo (Gianpiero Timbro). From the start their first spotanious and artistic meeting the resulting compositions where ethereal, dreaming and inspirational.

The combination of Carlo's Sad Chords and smooth dark sound and GianVigo's sonorous and contemplative melodies in the first works created an intimate and nostalgic feel. After a very long and intensive period of live shows and with the collaboration of Simona Giusti in recording sessions and also after several radio broadcasts the Duo were signed to the Caustic Records label at the begining of 2009.

The dream like journey now begins with the release of "Cabaret Syndrome". The first Album by Oniric is a melodic exploration dressed in a nostalgic style, touched by the penetrating veil of decadence. Both Apocalyptic and futuristic-retro Folk atmospheres combine into the air as if to open celestial gates while passing over them before vanishing into the Ether caried on the air of long forgotton times....

09. of october 2009 they will release the follow-up to their debut "Big Sky Horizon" from 2004. Risen from members of davaNtage and the Rupal Records Team Future Trail again is sending out a strong signal into the hearts of electro-community! If you remember the female voice of Wynardtages "The Grey Line"  be prepared to get offered the vocals of Mel combined with the one of legendary Dirk Ivens (Klinik, Dive, Sonar) in the hypnotic duett of "Landslide" as one of the highlights in "Breaking New Ground".
