Two shows in one week with new releases, yes it is possible. Some tracks are fresh from the release press, some are only a couple of weeks old. But all are new from this year. It is somehow a show, that is becoming more and more under the attention by some people. On Mix Cloud, we have entered the Top10 of Goth Rock shows on their platform for the first time.
I am still figuring out how to give the show a good format. I have to admit, the sub-genres we play at GothVille Radio, and putting together all these in one show of 2 hours with their new releases, it sometimes might give you a headache because of the different style.
However, it is all about exploring new music at GothVille. I only noticed the growth of the listeners during the show, and then the fallback as soon as I am making a crossover to another sub-genre, for then to grow again after the switch.
Making a show with only releases within the same sub-genre, or at least more related genres could be a solution, but sorry, I find an often more boring than giving it a good mix and nice crossovers... Feedback is always welcome in what you prefere...
